The GOMP Club is a place for friends to exchange contact information and communicate with one another.

The GOMP Club Origin Story

To the parents of friends our kids made at the pool, the beach, Disney World, or anywhere else:

GOMP is an acronym for "Giving Out My Phone (Number)".

I created this website because our kids don't have their own phone numbers and email addresses yet. This has made it really hard for them to make and keep long-term friends as we travel and have fun.

Our kids don't always remember our phone numbers to give to their new friends, but they can remember this URL -- and it seems to be pretty easy and distinctive, which makes it easy for new friends to remember as well.

All you have to do (or your kid has to do, if you're comfortable), is fill out the contact form for Marley, Quinn, or Merritt, and then we can reach out, talk to each other, and make sure everything is safe and secure -- potentially setting our kids up for a lifelong friendship, in a world that is frequently devoid of meaningful interaction.
